Tecta America Exec Takes Key Role at NRCA
Milwaukee, WI, April 27, 2006 - F.J. A. Christiansen Roofing Co., Inc., a Tecta America Company located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, announces that Robert A. McNamara, F.J.A. President, will serve as VP of the National Roofing Contractor's Association (NRCA).
The announcement was made recently at the NRCA membership meeting during its 119th annual convention. In his two-year role as VP, McNamara will work to oversee the direction of NRCA activities and offer his experience and guidance. The appointment acknowledges McNamara's leadership role in the industry and validates his efforts in promoting excellence in roofing.
McNamara's previous roles at NRCA include a post as President of affiliate organization National Roofing Legal Resource Center, Chairman of the NRCA Insurance Board of Governors, membership within various NRCA committees, and as a speaker at the annual NRCA convention. He has published many articles regarding roofing related topics, and has served for more than a decade in a leadership role at F.J. A. Christiansen Roofing Co., Inc., a Tecta America Company.
NRCA, established in 1886, is one of the nation's oldest trade associations and the voice of professional roofing contractors worldwide. With more than 4,600 members from all 50 states and 54 countries, NRCA is affiliated with 105 local, state, regional and international roofing contractor associations. The association includes roofing, roof deck, and waterproofing contractors; industry-related associate members, including manufacturers, distributors, architects, consultants, engineers, and city, state, and government agencies as well as international members.
